My oldest cat that I have had for about 6 years, eats cobwebs. If I miss any, like behind the entertainment center or low down in a corner behind something,he will take his paw and get them on his paw and lick them off,he also licks the wall where they are.If I get really behind on my cleaning and there is one a little high up he will climb on anything to get to it.

Anyone else's cat do this or have any idea why mine does??

Mine don't do that. Could I borrow your cat for a while?

Cats do sometimes the funniest things . I think it is nothing wrong for your cat doing that . Maybe I can borrow your cat once a moth too
to help me clean . Thailee licks plastic bags when I bring one out to put the sccop material from the litter box in . Malachi like to lick the chicken wire in the cat enclosure sometimes . I guess each cat has a thing going on

My kitty Snowball eats little clumps of hair off the floor if any of the others shed them there. And I have never seen her cough up a hairball!

One of my cats does that too! He especially loves it if there is a "floaty" one thats up high and then you pick him up to catch it and he is in cat heaven. As long as he isnt constantly eating them, the odd cobweb wont cause problems - but not too many!!

Yeah from what everyone has said about their kitties,I guess they all have something strange that they do.LOL.
When you said that about chcken wire, that reminded me of what else my cat licks. He licks my heat/air vents and also the thing that the filters for the heat pump go behind.

That's why I love my kitties, cause you never know what they are gonna do next.

Please add me to your list of sites for your cat to visit! If mine come across cobwebs, they tend to do the *ptooie* thing. Of course I have one that licks the cast iron fireplace.

He is the only one of my cats that I have ever noticed that licks stuff, and I was beginning to think he was losing it.LOL.
