So i notice 2 weeks ago that my cat had his left eye watery. Nothing else then that. It didin't seem to bother him at all. So what I did was put some worm water on to something and clean it. It went away after 2-3 days. After that I went into a 10 day trip and my husband told me his eye is watery again ( cat not husband;) )it is watery 1 day and then it does away maybe around 2. And during that its not constant, its here and there, specialy at night time. Also what I notice is that since he was small he scrached a bit hard on his face, can he scrach and by mistake get his eye too?Anyone has any idea before i run to the doctor with him?
Thank you for reading and any ideas or advice is really apreciated.

Sounds like it could be a blocked tear duct, or overproduction of tears. Only a vet can determine the cause. It should be checked out.

Absolutely he could have scratched his eye. There are a few things other than a scratch that could cause a watery eye too. Clogged tear duct, something embedded in the eye or even a possible Herpetic viral eye infection. The only way to know would be to have the eye looked at by your vet. They will put a yellow dye on the eyeball to check for a scratch. Does not hurt the cat's eye to have this dye dropped in the eye. He can also look at the tear duct. I would not wait to bring in your cat as eye issues are very sensitive. :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes:
