This is insane. I've heard of people loving their pets, but this is just nuts.

Over the past 20 years, Greg has spent $10,000 to turn the house into a "kitty playland," complete with 300 feet of cat walkways, 38 hand carved cat openings, and dozens of platforms. The bedroom even features a "private, rustic hideaway" in case the cats want some alone time, and a custom, mini kitty sized staircase.

Amazingly, the cats can travel through the entire house without touching the floor, and if for some reason they ever want to leave, there's even an outdoor cat enclosure for them to enjoy!

It does not have to cost a lot. If you want to do something similar and are good at DOY you can start installing narrow shelving near the ceiling. this is not space that we would normally use but cats love to get up there. Personally I think the little darlings already think they rule our lives so why encourage that belief :-)

It's his hobby. I'm sure a lot of people have spent $10,000 on golf or skiing or their model train sets :dk:. Plus $10,000 over 20 years is only $500 a year. That's nothing---most people probably spend more on lattes.

That is true. This is something that will outlast his current cats.

Id be scared that they wouldnt use it after the money spent haha

My two would rather play with a flower pot (long story) and the little container out of a kinder egg, anything more elaborate they just look haha
