I love my cats

we have two cats ,both are from the same litter , the one cat is normal , the other has problems she does not use a litter box because she can not feel when she has to use it. my wife is always cleaning after her ,thankgod she does not work ,it seems that when the cat lays down she does her bowl movement or she will just sit down and she will leak. I have sent over $3,000 at vets and still no help. one vet said she had back damage . I refuse to have her put down . I am wondering if other have a simular problem and how the deal with it . larrym

Hi Larry! A warm welcome to you! I would think that if she does have some sort of nerve damage in her back then that would lead to these issues. It sounds like you have done many tests to find out what is wrong - $3,000 worth of tests! I don't have much more to add other than bless you and your wife for helping this kitty. Hopefully someone will come along with some more ideas for you to help your kitty. :cross: for your kitty.

I have no idea what the issue is...does she have any issues walking or jumping or anything like that?  It seems strange if she doesn't that she cannot feel when she has the urge to "go".  But if that is happening, they DO make diapers for cats and dogs, which might be what you need.

This doesn't help with the diagnosis, but it might be a temporary solution until you can find out what it actually wrong with her, poor baby.
