8 mo old male. finished cycle of clavamox for slight URI, did not clear up foot issue. now on cephalexin. 4 vets have seen it and have no clue. follow up with vet on tues, but anyone seen something like this? does not bother max, amd you can touch paw without any crying. otherwise perfectly healthy. vets think fungus, perhaps ringworm, but this is localized to paw only. they dont think its autoimmune/pododermatitis (pillow foot).

Antibiotics do often cause diarrhea.

Wow, I have not seen anything like that! I wonder if cats can get a version of athlete's foot? Please keep us posted on what the vets say/do to treat. We would like to learn what this is too.

I know this post is old, but did you ever find out what this was? I have a foster with the exact same thing right now.

Is your cat on antibiotics too? Fungal infections can be caused by antibiotics.
