Looks like this is my week for doctors. Had my 6 month followup with the retina dr. (i had a partially detached retina around 3 years ago). Did tons of tests and so far everything looks ok. He had been monitoring something he called "puckering" on the eye that was operated on. It will eventually require more surgery, but not as serious as the detached retina. He told me it's just a small membrane that they remove. Right now it hasn't gotten any worse, but it's something that will have to be done in the future.

It's no fun getting "older"!! But I when you consider the alternative I shouldn't complain.

I am doing the doc rounds too....hit 65 recently and started Medicare (which is NOT cheap).  I think Bette Davis pretty much summed it up when she said: "Getting old is not for sissies".
