So I noticed on Sunday that my cat had a huge incision. I took her to the vet they sewed it up and put a drainage tube in her. I took her today for a checkup and they said she had a 106 fever. They gave her an antibiotic shot since it was hard to pill her called (Convenia) that lasts 7-14 days. She now is a bit lethargic and doesn't want to drink or eat. I syringe fed her with water and wet food a couple times. Should I be worried? Here are some pictures. The vet said if she is still not eating or drinking I should bring her back tomorrow.

Too big to be embedded. Won't let me add them...

If she still isn't eating tomorrow I would take her back.  Not eating can in and of itself cause serious problems for cats.  It's good that the vet takes it seriously many don't especially vets that don't specialize in cats.  It may just be a reaction to the medicine and hopefully will be eating tomorrow.

Hopefully she will eat on her own. For now I will syringe feed her. She also might be tired because of the pain medicine I gave which can last 8-12 hours and still have some effect. I'm hoping she feels better.

What pain medicine? Do you mean something the vet gave you to give her? Buprenex, hopefully? Yes that makes cats pretty stoned, and it is a good safe medicine. Convenia is very controversial and can cause lethargy and inappetence among other side effects.

Sounds like she is in good hands with you, with the syringe feeding. If she gets worse, don't hesitate to call the vet or bring her to an ER center if you have one available. Otherwise, keep on as you are doing and get her in to the vet first thing tomorrow if she isn't showing a lot of improvement.

Yes she was being given Buprenex. Now that she is off it she is still lethargic but snaps out of it for and hour or 2 a day. She drank and ate last night but hasn't eaten or drank today so I did the syringe again. Going in for a checkup tomorrow.
