Are you lucky? do you often win anything?

My luck is bad luck, something costly always happens just when things couldn't seem worse

I did win some face cream at Christmas though

I consider myself lucky though by accident:  my boss bought me a lottery ticket when the jackpot was in the hundreds of millions.  She didn't win anything, I won $7.

My sister put in a lot of raffle tickets for me to win the grand prize (a cat-themed quilt); I put in around five.  I won the quilt.

I've won some other minor items, but I don't buy lottery tickets except around Christmas (great stocking stuffer).

I'm also lucky with my health; given how I abuse my health, I'm lucky I don't hurt worse.

l'm certainly not lucky, but l don't consider myself unlucky either - except with money!

Every time l seem to get ahead, something happens that sets me back to zero. l just can't seem to edge up from status quo, even on the lottery. I bought $20 worth of tickets to our big one that just passed, and won  -  $20!  LOL.

I think I am somewhere in between. :lol3:

:lol3: That is where I fall - but probably more towards no than yes.

Monet, my cat, is luckier than I am.. he has won two contests (one for money which I put away for future emergency vet trips, plus a year supply of Greenies treats that I've donated majority of. The other he won a professional photo shoot with BARK magazine)

Me, personally.. nope. I've never won contests or raffles.

Yes, I consider myself lucky, I have cheated death three times in the last eight years.

I've won a few things over the last few years.  A Scentsy warmer with 3 bars, a Melissa & Doug toy pack for my DD, a hairbow for DD, a gift card to Build-a-Bear right after my DD has her birthday party there.  I'm noticing a trend as I type it out... lol  It's almost all been things for DD!    I have won some games/doorprizes at baby showers and what not too.  What I really want to win is one of the DSLR camera giveaways!!  Now that would be for ME!!

Yes, I have won a lot of things over the years. My most memorable one is this.

When I was in the 4th grade I won a set of wedding rings via a TV show. They ask a riddle. You send in the answer. They had a country winner and a city winner. When the program came on again the following week, they announced that I had won the wedding rings. I was so upset because the city winner won a new bicycle. When we received the rings, my dad took them to a jeweler and had them appraised. It was real gold wedding and engagement rings with .20 diamond in the engagement ring. I have worn them as my wedding rings since the early sixties and have just had the prongs reset and the rings soldered together. They are still beautiful.

We won a new bicycle from a radio station once. But lately no.

No, not in terms of winning stuff.  But I consider myself pretty lucky in life..

I've been pretty lucky as far as life goes but I've never won anything much. I'm still very grateful thouht

Has anyone hit the lottery here ? what have you bought ? I buy some scratch off tickets now and then and the most I have one on 1 ticket was 100.00

Don't you think you are getting a little too personal for a public forum?

I once won a set of snack tables in a newspaper contest. Don't buy lottery tickets anymore, but when I did all I won was maybe $5 a couple of times.
