All cats are different and KC may just be more sensitive to all the changes her body is going through.

That said, I think you need to try and get her in with the vet tomorrow. If something is wrong they will be able to help fix it, and if she's healthy it will give you the peace of mind that you need going into the weekend. You anxiety is not helping the process and I'm sure KC is picking up on it. I think the only way to calm you down is to have the reassurance from a vet that everything is okay, and, if it isn't, have the reassurance that you are doing what needs to be done to fix it.

As for the kitten movement lasting so long: in general the kittens skeletons calcify enough to be seen on an x-ray around 45 days. It is with this calcification that they begin moving around. Since most Queens deliver between 63 and 65 days it means you generally have about two weeks of movement prior to delivery. Remember, this is not a set in stone amount. Some kittens may have the growth needed to start moving around earlier and some later. And, some Queens deliver earlier and some go later. It's just a general estimate for people (like those who foster) who have no idea when conception might have taken place. I know that if I can't see or feel kittens yet I most likely have a few weeks whereas if I can I'm probably a lot closer. That said, I had one foster who I felt kittens moving for almost four weeks before she delivered (yes she was checked by the vet to be sure nothing was wrong), and another where there was no movement (the vet wasn't even sure she was pregnant) deliver the next day. Cats don't read the manual and so you see all sorts of fluctuations and different behaviors.

So, if she doesn't have them tonight take her to the vet tomorrow. It's what's best for BOTH of you. In the meantime, pour yourself an adult beverage and just try to calm yourself down. She will have them when she is ready and nothing is going to make them come any faster!

If it helps...when I picked up my current foster on April 8th, I could feel the kittens move..not strong or often but definite bumps and kicks. That's 3 weeks on Monday. I have no idea when she got pregnant. All I know is that they suspected she was pregnant when she was surrendered March 14th.

She has had no signs...and is still eating well. I can tell the babies are having a hard time moving around...it's getting tight in there.

I agree with EB...a trip to the vet will at least ease your mind. If she's still acting okay, eating, drinking etc...I really wouldn't worry. If she stops eating or looks feverish...

Maybe call them back and tell them how long it has been along with her symptoms. I think I'd insist that they check her, just for peace of mind.

I was crying when i last called my vet and so frantic especially cu z i thought it was a respiratory thing that my vet moved all her surgerys around for my cat and kits to get in. This was tge 2nd time i had ever been in, though my parents animals have beem goin for years...they really worked eith me cuz i was adamant. If that doesn't work id try calling other vets and telling them how urgent it is. If your still worried. You basically cant take no for an answer
