Dont worry to.much. i was a hot mess and i swear my cat held off till i calmed down...i expected her a week before they were born and she just had hers sunday...just have a drink and calm down, thats what the advisorshae told me ahah. If she starts smelling fishy or acting ill id be going to a vet. But if theyre still moving theyll come out...you may have just tricked yourself into thinking she was due sooner then she is cuz your excited...and a vet isnt a be all end all on when theyll come. If you feel more comfortable take her, otherwise i PROMISE youll have babies soon enough!!!
im just worried cause theyv been movin 17 days now and shes meowd for 2 days now all day long..i realy havent botherd her much infact i had to leave her a good while yesterday to take my son to tha er with a broken finger...maybe itll happen soon...thanks lala3
If you feel more comfortable take her. But if you move her a lot she may hold off even longer. If you have any questions about labor, i went thru a lot so just let me know! Good luck!
Can someone tell me what cokor the plug is suppose to be...kc had some slimy greenish stuff down there a few hours ago the babies are still moving but im not sure if its her plug or not??? The kittens have been moving 18 days now..
It does sound like she has lost her plug. But, if you don't see kittens in the next day or two or if she has any discharge that has a smell to it then I would get in touch with her vet. You always want to be concerned about off colored discharge. Usually it's normal but it can also indicate an underlying infection.
So, as long as she is acting somewhat normal (as normal as a Queen can be) then I would just keep an eye. If it's more than a day or two without babies then at least call your vet and ask for their opinion. If she becomes listless, there is any odor, or she starts vomiting or having diarrhea and I would take her in ASAP just to be safe.
If it was minimal fluid then i doubt it was. 2-3 days before roxy delivered she had a brown liquid i wiped off her spot. I got excited and thoughr tgat was it but i still had to wait. Tho all experiences are different, my girls was like a humans water breaking, puddle of clear liquid with minimal blood...i promise youlk no! I swear roxy pushed off delivery cuz i was so anxious! I was tgere when she gave birth. Id say your real close so have EVERYTHING ready. I had to filly intervene during my cats delivery and it made it easier to have everything under the sun at arms distance for the worst case scenario and trust me i used it all. If you have any questions on a fully hands on delivery im good fir that. Im happy i prepared for the worst cuz it was scary but.helpful to be prepared! Youll do great though. And the kittys will come soon enough!!!
Im ready have everything short of a delivery room..lol-- ive been giving her some alone time n checkin on her every hour..i wanted to make sure my kids wasnt bothering her...gonna sit back n wait..
Peppa was laid next to me on bed and just started pushing so i put her in her box and the pushing was about every 10 mins this went on for half an hour then i saw a slimy like green snot colour on the towel then another half hour later first kitten was born it must have been her plug. She was 1 hour from 1st push to kitten arriving hope this helps
