Yes, it should be very near now.  You feel them usually about 2 weeks before, so you are in the hot zone. But exactly when??  Its a waiting game.

Being a little over time is in practice not dangerous.  But undertime is dangerous for the kittens.

What you must look up with,  is if she apparently goes into labor, and it doesnt happen anything after several hours of work. Or she gets fever.  Or gets other problems, more than occasionally, like long and watery diarrhea...  Problems you would contact a vet if she was "healthy," you shall of course contact a vet when she is high preg.

Do you have a kitchen or mail scale handy? preferably measuring in grammes. Best are the electronic ones.

Welcome to our Forums!

Good luck!

Stomach becoming a little lesser is a sign kittens are going down into birth-positions.

Like human babies do.  So it is a step nearer still.

Good luck!

Understandable, and it is good you are observant. "**** happens" as they say, not often but it occurs. More then one of our forumists did saved the day by observation & intuition, and quickly taking the right measures.  Sometimes by a rush to a vet, sometimes by inspired work in place...

But. At the same time, it is good not to be visibly stressed. Your cat feels you being anxious and stressed, and she gets stresses by this...  You do help your cat in her need by being calm, being her support, being her safety belt.

Good luck!

My cat looks exactly like yours KCmama! She is today 64 days and her temp measured 99.6. She doesn't seem to be showing any other signs today though, other than going back and forth from our living room to her room. This is my first time monitoring a pregnant kitty. I've read everything I can find as far as what to watch for. I sure it happens soon for both my Pixie and your kitty!

They move a lot! It almost feels like they're rolling around. I can actually tell the difference in a head, paw, or rear end.

This wait is driving me crazy! I was able to express milk from her and according to what I've read, that is a great and promising sign that labor has began. She's not eating as much, but she IS still eating here and there. I'm afraid to go to bed because I don't want to miss anything.

I have been laying next to Pixie with my hand on her tummy. I can feel her tummy get really hard and she stretches her back legs out. I'm assuming this is contractions for her.
