My Cat is 17 and she had a seizure the other night. She has been missing for 2 days now. We went to the vets about her seizure and she was happy until we actually got to the vets. They gave her an injection for a blood test and we came back and she seemed fine and was in the house for a bit but then she went off later on that evening and the neighbour said that she looked very confused and quite ill. I need some resaurance or information about what could have happened to her. I know the obvious but I can't come to terms with it. I can't sleep now please reply.

My 17 Old Cat had a seizure and is quite ill. After what we thought was an alright trip to the vets she stayed with us for a bit but then wondered off into the garden. We have not seen her since yesterday afternoon. This is very out of character! Please reply with what you think might be wrong! Has she gone off the quietly move on...? :(

Regret not spending more time with my cat and now she's missing. I miss her so so much right now I can't stop crying. I have exams in about 4 weeks but I can't think about them at all because all I can do is cry and feel sad and miss my beautiful cat so much she is/was my best friend and I can't loose her with out saying goodbye. Not now. Not after everything we've been through together. This is the one place which I can let out my emotions and not feel judged. I love my cat so much it's ridiculous. I really love her. We grew up together, she was 17 and so am I now. I have a special relationship with her or at least I believed that to be the case. But she's run away now so maybe we didn't. I will never ever forget her and it's going to take me so long to get over her because she's the one who is always there when I come home from a hard day who I can cuddle when things are rough. I will always love my cat Roxy forever.

AW hun.... :sniffle: I am so sorry about your lost kitty. It is very possible that she is hiding out if she is sick and unwell. My sister had a cat who was 16 and recently disappeared never to return. She had kidney failure. I have heard stories of sick kitties who might disappear if they know the end is near. I am not saying this is the case with Roxy at all but since she was so sick one never knows. That is the hardest part, the not knowing, on top of the fear, loss and sadness. I hope that by this post your Roxy has returned. Please keep us posted and all my best to you and to your Roxy. :cross: :vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes::vibes: COME HOME, ROXY.

I'm so very sorry your cat is missing. I hope that you can find her, or she will come home soon.

I don't mean to be harsh in saying this, but I would have never let her outside under the circumstances.

She should have been kept inside, until you had an o.k. from the vet for her to go out. Keeping her in, you can monitor how she is doing, & she would be safe & resting.

I truly hope she is found soon.  Keep us posted.  I'll say a prayer for her safe return.
