Hi

A friend of my told me that Its good to expose cats to Catnip plant, and just let them enjoy.

Any health hazards exposing them to Catnip?

Thank you!

There are not really any hazards to exposing them to catnip.  Just make sure if it is fresh catnip it has been washed well to get any irritants off it.

Also, not all cats respond to catnip so if your cat isn't interested by the third time you've offered it, they never will be.

After reading some articles on the web (and your post
) I might get a plant to my yard!

Thank you very much

Let them enjoy...the only health hazzard I can think of is to you.  Don't try to rub their bellies in the midst of their fun!! LOL

A friend who has 7 cats and a member on site has a catnip plant in her backyard. The cats love it. She has given me some on occasion too. Not all of my cats are interested in either the fresh or the dry. I only give out a teeny bit at a time because my Perkins loves to eat it. Perfectly safe in small amounts. Perkins even eats the dry.
