Big Cat Diary on Animal Planet-tv watching

Does anyone's cat watch television?? I mean really watch it, peer at it, and want to jump into it? Our little Freddie, 6 mos., FIV+, loves Animal Planet. He hears the music for it every day when it comes on, and jumps up into Eric's computer chair and plants himself for at least 20 minutes to view it, commercials and all (Nissan cars are his favorite). He is mesmerized by Big Cat Diary. But he also likes the birdwatching and the brush bunnies.

Does anyone else have this happen w/their kitties??

Not my cat, but my dogs like watching dog shows. We throw the Best in Show DVD in and watch it with them all the time.

Man, do I need a life...

....no, Suzy, that is a GOOD life, trust me, it sounds NICE.
Especially on one of your winter days.

My cat will watch the big one in the living room.
Even if I have animal channel on the small one in my bedroom he will ignore it.

He does like my small radio that I move around, if I am sitting on the sofa and have it on, he seems fascinated with it.
