Does anyone know of any good cat carriers for large cats?

More specifically, it needs to fit a 20 lb. cat comfortably.  I would also like it to have a top loading feature because it's the only way I can get him in!  I currently have a soft sided carrier which has no bottom support so it sinks down, making it hard to carry so I think a plastic one might be better.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Yeah, I know what you mean about soft sided carriers.  Apparently vets don't like them either.

And although Ritz isn't 20 pounds, the only way I can get her in a cat carrier is through the top (versus side).

How about a DOG carrier.  It's good for animals +20 pounds.

This is a 26" one for cats.

This is a top loading one.

This looks pretty sturdy, mixed reviews on Amazon.

My son's vet suggested a "duffle bag" for cats who dislike the traditional cat carriers.  Maybe a big ole duffle bag would work for your 20#r?  My son's cat plows her little heat into the bars of a hard carrier and has caused her nose to bleed by the time he gets her to the vet. Since cats like to be hidden and confined at times, maybe it would be worth a try if you have a big duffle bag hanging around.  Put some cat nip or a favorite something of your cat's in it and test in the house to see how he/she does before venturing out of the home would be my suggestion.

Thanks so much for all the suggestions!  I wrote down the names of the carriers everyone gave me and they had the petmate one at PetSmart so I ended up getting that one.  It was pretty expensive but it's worth it to make him more comfortable.  If he doesn't like it, I can always return it and maybe try the March Clipper carrier.  I like the one I bought because it does not have a lot of large "windows" so he can stay hidden and feel safer, similar to what MagMitts said.  I will also try putting catnip inside, maybe it will help him calm down a bit before we leave.  Thanks again.
