Hi there!
I joined this site for some help with a stray cat I found a few days ago who has successfully found his owner. Now I've come to realize that I like the amount of helpful resources and people on here so I'm staying! I figured the polite thing to do was formally introduce myself and say 'Hi' to everyone, so hello!
I currently have one cat, one bearded dragon, and a betta fish. I'm on forums for each respective pet just in case they come down with some behaviour or strange health issues. My cat’s name is Atari (like the consol). She acquired this name the day after she came to live with my Fiance and I for trying to play pacman on my computer. We didn’t want to call a female cat pacman, and the Atari was the first gaming platform to feature pacman, so Atari became her name. She was born in February though we’re not sure what day. She is currently three years old, has all of her shots up to date, and has been spayed. She is three pounds overweight for a house cat and we’ve been feeding her selectively for about a year and a half or so. I’m not sure what breed she is, but here’s some pictures:
She gets along fine with my Bearded Dragon named Nephthys (Neph for short) and even tries to cuddle her. Atari has only tried to hunt my Betta Fish named Reginald once. I scolded her for it loudly and she never did it again. She is a ‘giant’ sweetheart and usually will fall asleep on my feet at night. During the day she follows me like a shadow and even sits next to me while I paint, however she is very vocal. My friend who breeds Siamese cats even said she talks more than her cats do. Personally I don’t mind it, I just pretend she’s talking to me. ;3
