My name is Latricia - or Trish to some - I have 5 kitties in my house - all indoor only.

Rex and Max are twin brothers. littermates. i owned their parents so i've had them their whole lives. they turned 16 last week :) Rex was diagnosed this week with lymphoma and we're currently working on a full diagnosis and treatment. Max is just a little grouchy old man :)

Max:

Rex:

Then there is my problem child, Hank. He was a rescue when he was about 6 weeks old. He is now 4. Extremely small, malnurished and with extreme respiratory conditions, we went through months of nursing him to health. Now he's a healthy and large 16 lb cat - who takes an inhaler twice a day for asthma.

Then there was Moli (Molly). She is the kitten of a barn cat i know and she's the lady of our house. She is 8 and sweet as can be.

And finally, Tigger. He belonged to my boyfriends ex wife and she decided he needed to go to the pound. We figured whats one more, and brought him in. we think he's around 8 or 9 years old and other than being a total furball (he has very long hair) he's an awesome cat.

thanks for letting me introduce my family! :)

What a beautiful family! You are so extremely lucky! Isn't it something that they can be so totally different in temperments and personalities? And bless you for giving such a loving home to these babies, I hate to think what would have happened top Tigger. Thank you for being such a good mommy!

Oh what a gorgeous family! I also never understood how "oh what's one more" until I started working with cats myself. You & they are very lucky to have each other! May you continue to live long & prosper together for many healthy years!

thanks guys! and thanks Kaitesyn! Hank is by far one of my most successful rescues. when we took him in he was terribly ill and only a few weeks old. he's a little on the heavy side these days being a good 15+ lbs (we think from years of pred), and has residual asthma from his early trials. but he is SO friendly and loving and happy... what a good boy :)
