67 isnt too bad, but when it goes on to 70 I begin to be anxious.

Anyway, kittens dont manage premature birth well, so better a couple days too long than too short.

I never said prim was pregnant for 67 days. She delivered 67 days after she ran away. She was gone for two whole days when she ran away. So she must have gotten prregnany the day she came home. When I put the date in the ct pregnancy calc I put the date she came home and that estimated she would deliver in 4-16 which she did :-)

Me and my bf think the father is either a short haired grey cat or a orange tabby. Is there anyway the kittens could be in bet short and long haired? Or black orange and white spotted. Or even short hair even tho roxy is long haired

If the daddy is orange, some of the girl babies could be calicos/torties. The red (orange) gene comes from the X chromosome, so no orange boys, and no all-orange girls (because they need to get it from both sides). They may be tabbies, though, not solid, it depends what she's carrying. If the daddy is longhaired, all babies will be longhaired (It's recessive). If the daddy is shorthaired, they could be either shorthaired or longhaired, but mostly shorthaired.

If the daddy cat is gray, that's the same color genetically as black, but with a dilute modifier. So there will be less variety in the babies. No calicos/torties.

Both of roxys parents look like her long haired solid black with white paws and white socks...so i feel that her genes are strong. One of her sisters tho was tan with black points...and blue eyes?? Idk how that was possible...

Because both parents were carrying the pointed gene. There's no telling what kind of background non-purebred cats have! So probably Roxy is a carrier of the pointed gene as well. If the daddy cat is also a carrier, some of the kittens could be pointed.

As Willowy has said, when you don't know who the Dad is you can get all sorts of possible kitten combinations. If he was longhaired then they all will be, otherwise you may have a mix of long and short or even all short. The colors can be a wide variety too. You just have to wait and see.

So we' re def getting close. Roxy let out a growling yell yesterday and seemed very uncomfortable! Today shes been in her nest box most of tge day and i can literally feel the outline of the whole baby's. This is the end of the 2nd week that ive felt the babies...this time though when shes on her side i feel bodies...moving, but barely...shes laying on her back now and allowing me to rub her whole belly down. As where thesr last two weeks shes been irritated and uncomfortable. She also is meowing every so often and very quietly...but she sometimes does that. Shes also following me when i pee or leave the room. Tho if she knows im close she does her own thing. The one thing odd is she is still eating!? Anyone think by these signs she could be close. Whats peoples input on this situation?

My Ginny has been letting me rub her belly also for the last week, which she wouldn't let us do that before and she has been following me every time I leave the room. I've just watched her eating and it looks like her back legs have been dislocated when she squats down to eat. I suppose that's due to all the extra weight. Do you have any idea of Roxy's due date? Not sure of Ginny's as she was pregnant when we got her. Vet estimated her to be 6/7 weeks when I took her 3 weeks ago.

It does sound like she is getting close but as you know it's so hard to pinpoint. And, some cats do continue to chow down up until delivery and some even eat during delivery! So, just because she's still eating doesn't mean she's not close, it just means she is trying to confuse you.

Always trying to throw me off. When shes walking around her body twiches and tenses all over...looks like when you scratch a cats sweet spot and they scrunch there skin a little...could these be the first signs of early contractions? Icant tell. Sadly i work a double Saturday. I dont wanna miss her giving birth but ill have a sort break around 3pm Saturday...and then im first out Saturday. So if the day is Saturday, hopefully shell hold off until 8pm or so...
