Thanks ladies! On the Jada subject...she has me confused. Her symptoms have disappeared except for the sleeping and she had quite a bit more discharge when I came home from work today. My husband originally bet tonight. But no sign of anything else. The affectionate side subdued....I'm lost lol.

It's all part of her master plan. You were getting too close to pinpointing so she decided to throw you a curve. Queens are notorious for this.

Just hang in there!

Ruh Ro Raggy. I think she answered my question. Maybe. She is in her box...breathing rate seems slightly elevated...constant licking....could this be it?!??!?!!!? Good grief I hope!!!! Not a peep from her though. Doing my nightly routine with the kiddos and when they are settled ill go back in and sit with her.

Lol sorry! Update...she definitely seems uncomfortable. Breathing rate still seems elevated, no panting though. She laid down on my chest/belly...and it's was peculiar. Her whole body seemed average temp...except her belly. Pretty much her uterine horns. You know how when you use a muscle it emminates heat? I haven't actually felt any contractions yet...never been through it with a car but I can't imagine the concept is different. Leaving her be for a little while...I'll check back.

No the concept really isn't any different- they mostly look like they are straining to take a big poop (much like human women do)!

She sounds close (I know I've been saying it for a week). Hopefully she goes soon. Keep checking on her every few hours throughout the night so that you don't miss it!

For the love of unicorns! No kittens yet. She has got to be close!!! She is still in her room. I stayed with her last night. She is either knocked out sleeping or resting with her eyes open which is strange because she never does that. Lots of stretching....no more fluid so far. She isn't in her box anore although she keeps looking over at it. Licking licking Andorra licking ...I always thought night but maybe day? We shall see.

No change today....except no more discharge. She slept all day....dug around in her box although she still spend quite a bit of time on the bed stretching and rolling whenever woken. Sigh..,

At this point....I would soooooooooo much rather have a cat with no symptoms over a cat with every indication and no labor. Lol!!!!

Ok I am trying to upload a picture but it won't let me. She is having even more of this discharge. There has been a lot of it this week. I really just want someone to tell me if its ok. The vet knew about the discharge but paid it no mind....Most of you know I have not been shy about taking her to the vet, but another sizable lump for X-rays and ultrasounds seems excessive if she is ok....I have like 5 pictures of different times I collected this stuff...not sure what I should do.

Some discharge is normal so long as there is no smell to it. She may just be too chunky to get down there and properly clean herself.

If it has an odor that can indicate an infection and you need to get her back to the vet. Otherwise, since you were just there I think you are okay to just let her be and let the process continue. Usually I'm a big vet advocate since we aren't there and can't see her, but you just had her in and she was fine. That makes me think it's just part of pregnancy and her being too lazy to properly groom.

How are her other symptoms? has she had any recurring bouts of diarrhea? Any vomiting? Is she overly lethargic or totally off her food? These can all happen with pregnancy but if they are happening more than once or twice they are also indications of a bigger problem. If she doesn't have any of these just keep waiting it out.

All that said you are in charge so if your gut is telling you something is wrong than err on the side of caution. If you are on the fence that just keep waiting. If you get more concerned take her.

Hope that helps!
