Hi all,

I have another question. Kittens are 10 days old today. Last night/early this morning mama moved them from their box in my room to under the boy's bed. I was starting to wonder if the box wasn't getting too small. I've got a bigger box and set it up for her in my closet just in case she was looking for quieter area. My question is, should I move them or just let her be? Will she get upset and hurt them if I move them? What reasons would she have for moving them and are they safe under the bed?

Thanks.

Sam

Moving kittens is something a lot of cats do.  If they were living a wild life it would be part of keeping the nest secure, and of course of moving to a clean one.

I have no idea if they are safe under the bed, but I'd put a box there for her and pop the kittens in it and see what happens.  At 10 days they are also on the point of starting to get more mobile and explore, so make sure there isn't anywhere they can get into that might be dangerous or simply undesirable.
