My cat is 9 weeks into pregnancy. I've noticed this watery discharge for about 2 days. Not gushing, just wetness then dries on her bottom. No contractions still. Is this color normal and any ideas how much longer til labor??

Cwhit, I called vet incase and he said it is okay. He said it will turn greenish yellow just before she delivers.

ya i heard that to just the other day. never knew that was a sign.  Not TMI, i was watching mine when she went last too! LOL

well youll have to keep me updated if she goes into labor after having loose bowels

Dora may be having contractions, shes kind of jerky moving. Nothing like ive seen on the videos of contractions, so maybe they are mild or not contractions at all. Babies movement slowed down again. She came out of the room to sit by me, snoozing away but her butt is raised a teeny bit. Im going to go into bed and see if she will lay down and try to watch her belly to see if these are contractions or not.

Dora has been doing the same thing for 2 weeks. She so desperately wants out. Two days ago I let we come in backyard with us since its fenced in and made sure she couldn't sneak out of it. She liked it.

Still no contractions. Her babies are moving in her belly this morning so much that I could see complete outlines :-)

So happy to have found this!  My girl has been having the same "issue" and I wasn't sure if it was a sign of imminent birth or not.  Or if it was even normal.  I do believe she is ready to pop at any time.

Danielle Moore.  Follow the other contemporary (and older) threads to get extra knowledge and sharing, but it is best you do start your own thread. So your questions dont drown among the friendly chat.  :)

I for one, usually dont follow long threads closely, so it is seldom I see new questions there.

Welcome to our Forums!

Good luck!

ps.  Much discharges esp not bloody isnt good, we recommend to contact your vet in such cases.
