My cat has had all the symptoms of starting labor for 3-4 days, except for discharge. shes been anxious, nesting, sleeping alot, loss of appetite and temp of 99.5.  I just now noticed for the first time a slightly blood tinted watery substance on her vagina, not gushing out or stringy just a wetness on her area.  Would this be considered the start of stage 1 labor or is this still 'pre-labor' and possibly looking at still a possible 72 hours before delivery.  I am super excited and hoping this means she will most likely deliver tonight. My 3 yr old daughter and I are so anxious :-)

Also, my guess of her term is about 9 weeks (if im right) shes around 63-67 days which is exactly the timeframe ive noticed they are expected to go.

*no guilt trips please, she will be getting spayed asap*

Ok I noticed that same type of bloody stuff coming out at about 6 on march 26 and then just after midnight on march 27 she had her kitten so yes it is the start of labor. Trust me I didn't know anything about it till I looked everything up after she had her baby. I didn't even know she was pregnant so be waiting it might take a little longer it all depends on the cat just like it all depends on the human when it comes to labor.

OMG yay!!!! im so excited!! i was getting worried because her pre-labor started ATLEAST thursday afternoon.  I was hoping this wasnt a problem thing or just more pre-labor.  I figured it is probably labor labor now! GREAT!  Im thinking around midnight too.  I better try to get some rest before she has me up again :-)  Ill keep you al posted :-)   (btw discharge i noticedwas at 7pm)

Your welcome. I'm so excited for you. I stayed up with my girl till 5 in the morning cause I wanted to make sure she didn't have anymore after her first kitten and I was right

I wouldn't know about that but I think it is apart cause even though I was home during her whole labor I didn't even pay attention to that area but I would say yes cause they have to get the blood and stuff out while they push.

She hasn't had normal belly contractions, crying or pushing yet... Just the vaginal twitching. It's not constant... Idk it's weird. Momma is resting still, I hear her groan here and there a Lil but I think it's from discomfort not strong contractions.

My girl has always been layed back so she didn't make any noise except when the head was coming cause a few min later I heard the kitten meow. I would look it up but if you don't feel comfertable still call your vet if you can or a 24 hour vet so you can ask them.

Still no contractions. Just making her as comfy as possible. She's eating a little today, going to watch her today for any progress

ok like I said cats just like humans will deliver when they feel like they are ready but if she is still in labor tomarrow call your vet cause she is at risk now for infection.

That's a pretty momma. Dora is due this week sometime too. Is peppa showing any signs? Any discharge, low appetite?

She will be 1 year old on the day before mothers day :-) Sounds like our mommas are due about same time :-) good luck
