My walk today was just beautiful! It's about 62 degrees, sunny, sunny, and sunny. A little on the breezy side, but the breeze felt good. The ducks were sunning themselves along the bank of the stream and there were birds everywhere. So many people were outside; I walk in a mature neighborhood, so many of the people there are retired. Everybody was smiling. It's amazing what a little warmth can do to one's attitude. I didn't want to come back into work.

What a wonderful day!

It's bright and sunny here too!  My backyard thermometer says it's 80 out but I think it's off a little from being in direct sun right now.  I'm going to take the kids out to water our new trees later.  This weather is so wacky; it's warm enough for short sleeved shirts but I haven't gone through anything for this season yet!  DD found an outfit in her dresser from last year that fits; but the pants are looking like pedal pushers and the top no longer looks like a tunic style shirt!

It was really nice here yesterday too! It's supposed to get up to 70 today! I think I'll have to get outside and enjoy it a bit. :)

We're supposed to get to the upper 70s today. I drove home from work last night with my moon roof wide open. We thought about opening windows last night, but I chickened out....I was afraid it would really chill off during the night. As it was, I didn't bother with the electric blanket....and I was a wee bit chilly when I first awakened this morning.

But it was heaven not having to get out my heavy coat this morning.

Sun is shining brightly but it's cold, brutally cold and we set a new record for low temp somewhere early this morning, totally obliterated the old record of -14°C by a few degrees. High today? a balmy -5°C with a horrible windchill. They say it MAY warm to above freezing by the weekend. I don't believe them any longer, I think they are lying and it's never gonna be spring or summer again........new ice age starting............

Wonderful again today....just got back from my walk. I forgot to bring a t-shirt, so I had to wear a sweat shirt and it was way too warm with that on.

We're due for a cool down, back to the 50s, by this weekend. But I will take what we have now and enjoy!
(Last week? We were in the 30s)

If you start seeing mastadons, take some pictures.  When does the sulky racing season start?

How about a pic of a horse with a coat like a yak??LOL

Dunno, no firm dates at this point........if the gov't has its way, will be only flat racing here although the harness history goes back to the 1880s and the running horses never made an appearance here until the late teens save for match races for no purses, just cowboy pride. .

Me too!!  Warm enough to go enjoy being outside!  I'm not a fan of sweating!!

Same here 83 today, 40 on Wednesday. My sister's house in Choctaw, OK went from 82 to 48 in about 3 hours this afternoon.
Wow!!  That is a huge drop!  Temps are supposed to gradually get back to normal here.  I'm ok with that.  Its much to early for this kind of heat!

We did have the windows open all night last night.....the cats loved it; they were up and down, taking turns checking out all the windows. It was still 63 when I got out of bed this morning and we are to get close to 80 today.

And that's a wee bit much right now, considering that we were in the 30s last week and walking around in winter coats. I did my treadmill walk this morning and I think I may wait until tonight to do the other two miles as it is going to be very humid over lunch today.

It is just beautiful outside, though!
