As I delve more and more into the realm of crazy cat lady, I've decided that I should throw my cats birthday parties.  Both of them love people and aren't afraid of guests at all, so having some people over to celebrate isn't going to stress them out.  There will be human cake for the humans, and liver cake for my girls.

(I won't lie, I also think this is a great way to get some toys for my girls. =P)

Anyway!  My biggest question is... should I throw it on my girls' estimated birthdays, or on the day they joined my life?  I adopted Doll on August 27th, 2006, but she was four months old when I got her, so I assume her birthday is sometime this month.  I got Yue June 29th, and she was only palm size, so I think she was probably 1.5 - 2 months when I got her.

Have any of you ever thrown your cats/dogs/pets birthday parties?  How did it go over?

Have the party on July 28th, half-way in between, and call it a Gotcha Day party. I don't ever throw a party for MY birthday.

All my cat's birthdays are in my calendar.....first coming up 4/23.  Haven't figured it out....but I'm sure they will be getting something special.

When it's a cat's birthday, that cat gets a can of Fancy Feast for breakfast and another can for supper. I walk around the house with him or her, singing Happy Birthday. And he or she gets a small toy.

We know BooBoo's and Ms. Pepe's actual birthdays: Feb 13

Mollipop's actual birthday is Feb 8

The rest of the gang, we're not sure about, so we celebrate their Gotcha Day, the day they came into the house.

Bootser: July 15

Amber Louise: Nov 1

Tabby: June 30 (we won't forget hers; on July 3, I told dear Richard that Tabby was staying with us and we had our own fireworks that night!)

Muffin: Sept 11

since i know sevens actual birthday , i had the party a day before his actual birthday. he had cake, we sang to him, and i blew out his candle for him. he was going to get a little piece of the vanilla cake and also some shrimp, but the poor baby was sick for his birthday so we had to scratch the shrimp, but we still sang to him!
