andrea bocelli

i just wanted to share with u guys about this guy... his songs have touched me so much.. i dun know the language he is singing but i can feel the passion and feelings... hope u guys can try listening to him...

any of you guys have any singer to recommend??+

I also am starting to like the Opera Babes.. Stupid name but they are beautiful singers

I'm into Enya, or used to be.. the music really inspires me..

Usually I'm a heavy metal/hard rock chick, my favorite band is Cradle of Filth (don't ask, lol) but really I like music with a deeper meaning than singing about getting laid..

i know what you mean anna... it's just so soothing to listen to him and enya.. it calms me down a whole lot....

I assume that you know that he is blind?
(I don't think he was blind at birth but rather
that it was the result of some illness he had as a child.)

Sarah Brightman! I love her first pop album "Dive". It's a group of songs with an aquatic theme.

I also love the group Moodswings. They have a dance vibe, but are very relaxed and mellow. I put them on when I want to zone out and relax. There are few vocals, except for invited singers. I recommend the album "Moodfood".

Thomas Hampson, who is an operatic baritone singer, has several song albums out. He has a beautiful voice. (I don't care for the German song albums that he has recorded, but he has several in english & italian.)

Bocelli is an operatic tenor. You might like some of Placido Domingo's non-operatic records, of which there are quite a few.
He has a wonderful album of spanish love songs..I don't know what he is saying, but still like to listen.

yeah..i know that he's blind.. i guess that's why he sings with much more passion and feelings...

I love him. He was blinded at age 11 or 12 when he was hit in the head by a soccer ball.

I also love Sarah Brightman, Aselin Debison (Canadian girl), but my fav is Josh Groben. His music inspires me and soothes my soul - he has the voice of an angel!
