Hello my name is Jenn. I am owned by two cats and many reptiles. The two cats are Pumpkin my 8 year old male orange and white tabby and Saffire my 7 year old female snowshoe. Saffire is a rescue and came to me completely declawed. She has some behavioral issues that i am not sure how to handle.

pumpkin is my problem child. he had URI as a kitten, developed FLUTD at three and now has IBD. The past couple of weeks have been really bad. I am hoping to learn more on ways to help him naturally rather than with drugs.

Hi Jenn. Welcome to TCS! I am sorry to hear of your troubles with your kitties, but I think you've come to the right place for help and support. There are a lot of knowledgeable members here.

Behavioral problems are not uncommon with completely declawed cats. Maybe you would like to post the specific issues  in a new thread in the Behavior forum?

As for Pumpkin and his IBD, have you considered a raw diet? There are members here who have seen some amazing improvements in their IBD kitties when switched to a raw diet. If you are interested, there is a resource thread at the top of the Raw Feeding forum that has a lot of good info.
