Look up oral rehydration fluid, make it and give him a couple of teaspoons every 30 minutes or so, but he does need the vet.

Try some homemade pedialyte. Keep him warm and keep a close eye on him.  Take him to the vet in the morning, like you planned. Is it possible that he ate some plant?

thank you for the advice so far. there are no plants he could have gotten into. maybe he got a little tummy virus.

Sorry about your sick kitty. What are you feeding him, and are you sure that food is not included in any of the recent recalls?

By all means take your cat to the vet.    He is probably already dehydrated.  I agree with another post, try some pedialyte.   My prayers are with you and your little one.

update on Seven...hes still purry and playful and looking out the windows, and now hes starting to cry for food. im going to hold out a few more hours tho and try just a spoonful of food later on tonight and see how that works out. im also going to make the pedialyte solution that a few of you have suggested and see if he holds it down.

still going to get up bright and early and call the vet 1st thing and get him and appointment. I have to borrow the money to get him from the vet, but hey, hes my baby. better to be safe than sorry!!

i made the pedialyte solution and at first had to give him a bit through a dropper but then he started drinking it on his own. i fed him a teaspoon of his wet food before bed and he has kept everything down. he is his old self today. im not sure about the diarhea cause i havent seen him go. im betting he prrob ate a bug or spider! regardless, he has a vet appointment today just to be sure. my vet it reasonably priced and id rather get him checked to be safe.

thank you all for the advice. the pedialyte mix is something i will be keeping in mind for future references.
