I wanted to say 'thank you' to this invaluable forum.  Although I do not post very much, I find the information I need from existing posts.

Here are a few piccies of my young rescue cat Maisie and her three kits which are now nearly four weeks old.

Maisie and the kittens at 4 days

Socks (the one who would not feed!) at one week

Truffles and Bailey at three weeks.

Thanks again to the knowledgable contributors to this site.

I would love to keep them all, but will probably only keep one and hope the other two can be rehomed together.  We had two people interested in the kittens pre-birth, but we feel they don't understand the responsibility they are taking on.  I am being very pickie aren't I?

Sox is just fine thanks, after all the inital worry!  In fact he is the bravest of them all!    They will be four weeks on Monday and are just venturing out of the box.  They are not one bit afraid of the dogs and often seek them out for extra warmth.

I can't wait to watch them grow.

Wonderful, watch them grow, laugh at their antics, and don't separate them from the mother too soon.  Let her teach them some cat manners and how to manipulate humans.  12 weeks is about the time, according to most of the advice I see on here.
