Is it normal for a 8 day old to be trying to stand cause my kitten is 8 days old and he tries to stand and move on his legs. I was watching him when he was in the box we have him and his mother in and he was up on his little paws alil and using a peice of the blanket to try and move while moving his paws. I was thinking he is walking but then realised he was crawling but was trying to use his legs to walk at the same time cause his little body wasn't off the box but his legs were under him like he was trying to walk

Yeah, they're usually walking by 2 weeks so he needs to start practicing :tongue2:. Also, sometimes single kittens develop faster, since they're getting all the milk and all the attention.

Aww he is so, so cute!! My kittens started walking at 11 days give or take a day so it sounds like he is on track! Congratulations on your kit!

Thanks he just got his eyes open all the way and is so so sweet. He does still get scared if we hold him out to get a look at him good but if we hold him close he is ok.
