Saturday, we returned from vacation (M-I-L was coming over to feed/water/clean up after her during the week) to find our kitten with a sore hard belly. Took her to the vets, they said she was just severely constipated and they gave her enemas and sent her home the next day. Since then she's been rather lethargic but has had an appetite and has been eating. I figured she's just sore and healing, until this morning when instead of walking around she's dragging herself by her front paws as if her back legs (the right one in particular I think) Don't work.

Any Ideas on what this might be? My wife loves the dang cat like its her kid, But I don't think we can afford another big vet bill.

I'd get her to a vet asap. I haven't a clue what could be wrong, but I'd not delay going. Keep us posted.

Just got back from the vet. She has FLV. they aren't positive that's what is causing her issues, they may have been a side effect of the enemas. They gave her steroids and said if its not FLV she should improve by saturday morning.

This makes me think they are not positive it's FeLV, since you said "if it's not FLV she should improve by Saturday morning".  what test did they run?  Did they do the ELISA test, or the IFA test, or both?

Here is an article on FeLV you might find helpful, but let's hope the steroid does the trick, and that it is Not FeLV.  But if it is, please note this portion of the below article:  "Of those infected, about a third will gain full recovery within weeks and will not be further affected; another third will become carriers of FeLV, but may remain in this state for many years; and only one-third will immediately get the active form of the disease."  I just want to make sure you (and your wife, of course) see that part, to know not all is lost

Let us know how she does with the steroids.
