I second that opinion.

I can't tell...having trouble reading and concentrating...

IMO it's probably just a scare story - I've heard similar stories about dogs carrying parasites - yes, they can carry parasites that can be dangerous, but simple hygiene and proper vet care will prevent them.

We all know that toxoplasmosis is dangerous to pregnant women, though. Just have someone else change the litterbox, or if that's not possible just wear gloves & a mask & wash well.

Toxoplasmosis causes flu like symptoms and I'm sure the statistics are the same for both. If you are sick you are less likly to be able to consentrate and become irratable. Duh They are just trying to pin it on one illness.
