Hi my cat Boots has just had her 2nd litter and i cant tell if there is anymore to come.Boots was massive when she was pregnant i got told she might be expecting 6 and she has only had 3, she has gone to sleep and her babys are happy feeding and there is no sign of anymore, she had 4 kittens in her last litter i got told they have more on there second is this normal?

How many, we cant know.
But the situation; are there more or just a little swollen inside? Just pausing or... Is common enough here.
The recipe is basic and fairly straightforward:
If she is calm, not stressed, happily busying herself with the kittens - you shall observe, but can wait and see without panicking.
Do phone your vet if you want or feel unsure, but she will probably give you the same advice.
But if she is visibly in distress, or long labor, or bleeding more then some rosy water, or runs fever, or...
Be VERRY watchful, you shall phone your vet, and be ready to rush in.
Are you a breeder? If not, we do warmthly recommend you to spay her when this litter is weaned off.

ps. Here, my guess is, she feels tired, and takes a pause. If she isnt exhausted or you see other alarming signals, my guess is you can observe, and wait.
If she has more, they will come when their time to come is here. A couple of hours or even a couple of days later...
Kittens do have apparently milk, if they hadnt they would be loudly.

I agree. I called a vet for my cat cause she only had one and they told me watch carefully and wait. If she acts stressed or different then bring her in(we don't have a vet for her cause we got her 3 months ago just after she got pregnant and didn't know we was going to wait to get another cat till we got her to the vet but she made our decision). When baby is old enough we are getting him neutered and we are getting her spayed at the same time and we are taking them to a vet that my bfs brother and brother in law goes to.
