Either I am ,as usual, making too big of a deal of all of this OR it's actually too MUCH for me to do. Yesterday I got home from an extremely difficult day of work, to find Zip-Zap puking all over the place...they're cage was flooded with vomit.I had to let them out to clean they're cage which is cool cause I let them out when I get home anyway. Then I noticed the cat bed I go them had pieces missing, well I am assuming he, Zip-Zap was bored and started trying to eat this CHEAP,CHINESE Cat bed! I removed the bed from the area. He continued to puke for a while then stopped and was back to normal in a few hours, although I wonder if he was puking because of worms, as I have yet to worm them.Last week the other one, Tuppy, displayed these same symptoms. Can this be associated with worms? Please let me know what else I need to do, even though it is very difficult for me to do these tasks due to a disability, I want the best for these guys while they are in my care. I do think fostering them is a better than trying to keep them.THIS IS REALLY STARTING TO STRESS ME OUT FOLKS any help would be surly appreciated:(

That was a lot of puking! Lets hope it was these chinese cat bed causing.  No more than a half portion of them, so you know! Not as raw in any case.

Lets hope the puking doesnt return, not in such amount.

Yes, puking may be a symptom of worms. Sometimes the worms are in the puking, so you know. But they arent always in there...

If you saved them from the outside (as I presume you did), you must count on they need deworming.

So if you manage to deworm them, it is great.

You do know what dewormers to use?

Good luck!

Vet have such medicine that stabilizes stomach, which might help, it was not awfully expensive at least in here and big bottle was a lot, so not all was used for that time, so if there is another issues with mine I might be able to use stuff later too, of course if Vet approves and if it still is in working order.

Anyway it might be Vet visit in order if puking continues, but so you know that it is not costing a fortune for such medicine. I think de-worming pills were a lot more for my six than that bottle of stomach medicine which would of been plenty for all of them, but I needed to give it only for two.

An excellent and fairly cheap dewormer you can get from all over, 1800petmeds, and so on is pyrantel.

You don't need a vet for this.

Cat vomiting is NOT the norm like for a dog.

I would not worry about settling their stomach, but rather the cause.

What is the story with having these cats caged? Are they homeless and you want to help, or what?

Helps to understand better what the deal is.

So here's the deal on the caging of these guys..My kid just moved out I am trying to"cat-proof" my home, and put them into her room then acclimate them to the rest of the house. I also work a grueling job that requires my constant attention and am on call @ times..My disability slows everything down to a crawl, I'm not relishing the fact that these cats may not be getting the ideal enviorment but this is temporary and will let them out when I am positive they cannot find something an swallow it causing they're demise

yesterday the 9th of April I freed the POWs however upon leaving I got them into a room and shut the door after wick one of them took a BIG dump in their cat bed... I think it was a response to enclosing them? I left the out all night and had no problems that I can see. But as always duty calls and I'm out the door! I'm leaving the out for the day while I am away. We will see:)

Going from outdoors to indoors is a drastic change for a cat.  It will take some time for them to acclimate to their new surroundings.

Thank you for caring for them.

If you have a litter box for them, you might try adding dirt or dry leaves to the top. That's what they are used to using outside. They may not know what to do with regular litter. Thanks for helping them.

Thanx for all the comments they will be helpful and used.

When I got home from work last night, I was amazed to find all was well and both cats snuggled in my chair.  I was so worried that Zippy, the real active one would reek havoc upon any items in his way but not the case

Although I left the bathroom door open this morning while prepping for my daily activities and noticed the lid of the toilet as all wet. I guess they get the idea, I've heard that you can train cats to use a commode. I know they're spraying all over and it's bothersome as my lady friends have said it kinda smells. Hopefully it will stop when they feel safer and as time goes . I am concerned about the fluffy one it looks like he may be bloated. am waiting for the "Feline Home Ranch", in my area to contact me, for advice.

Methinks when I leave they go thru Anxiety of some sort. ANYWAY ALL IS GOOD FOR NOW, me fostering them. I'm sure I will be unable to care for them. Shoot I' not sure if I can worm them or not as I HAVE NOT DONE THAT YET. I called the vet and they want to see them to get a weight on them which I understand.

So my friends I must bid you ado, as Duty calls once again.

Peace, owt
