My little lottie is 62 days gone and 2 days ago she started having a pinkish distarge, nothing gushing just little spots were she sits.
she is eating and drinking and sleeping as usual, still her cuddly self.
Is this the start of labour? should i take her to the vets?

Thanks x

The best is if you do phone your vet and ask... Because I do hope you do have a vet you can phone and ask...   :)

My guess is you can wait and see, as it is not red, nor she is in no signs of being sick.

Welcome to our Forums!

Good luck!

For most cat owners it is both the first and last time, as the usual (or at least, recommended by us) is to spay them, unless you are a breeder.      :)     Hey, you were yourself going to spay her, so you understand.   :)

Rescuers, and breeders, meet this more often.   :)

So you do have quite some to read and prepare yourself, if you hadnt done so yet...

I suppose you had already done some reading?  In our other threads, and the article section.

Good luck!

Yea i have known a quite a few weeks so ive read everything i can find on the internet lol watch nearly all videos on cat birth to so im not completely in the dark. There was just so many different views on distarge, infection and start of labour.
This is certainly her first and last litter im just lucky that there are people who want to give them a home.
Its strange because ive always been one to tell people to go to the shelter for kittens dont bread as there are far to many kittens than good homes. But look were i am now.

I got my cat from a lady that lives about an hour or so away from me and she didn't want to send the cat to a shelter cause of how sweet she is even though she would be in a new home within a few days if she went cause there is nothing wrong with her. I decided to get her so that they lady and her fam didn't have to worry about her getting miss treated or not enough attention and since she was only pregnant with one kitten I thought she was not getting enough. Excersize and then just last week she had her baby. I didn't know mine was pregnant but we are keeping the kitten (we named him tigger but renamed him buddy lucky he ain't old enough to know his name) but we was going to get a kitten from the shelter but I'm glade we didn't cause then we wouldn't have the pressiouse angels we do today
