Today's question is:

If a genie said he would grant you any one skill or talent

you don't already have, what would you choose?

To live in the present moment
. I've noticed that my worries are about the future or things from the past. When I am present, life is a lot more peaceful.

I wish I knew how to get around in my car without getting lost.  I should have listened more in my geography classes.  I don't drive anywhere unless I know exactly how to get there.  Forget maps cuz I can't read them.

Garmin-A popular name of GPS that you enter your info of where you want to go and it gets you there. Tomtom is another. And cell phones have apps for the same thing.

We have a Garmin for Rick's truck and, honestly, that thing is wonderful. I can't tell you how many times we've been to the Penzey store in Connecticut and yet, we still get lost. The first time we had the Garmin....well, let's just say we will never go to Penzey again without the GPS.

Hannah, the Hyundai Tucson, has her own nav system and it has made things a lot easier for me.

It's not a skill or a talent, but there are times that I truly wish I had more patience.

Woodworking.  I've always secretly longed to be able to craft things out of wood.  I bought a Dremel years ago .. and really need to drag that back out now that we're retired & piddle.  I only made one planter - out of a stump.  I always thought, seeing the cool wooden planters at the garden centers that "I could make one of those .. better"  LOL

I watch a LOT of movies so I guess it would have to be "acting".

I'd have to say, in the grand scheme of things, this would be my choice, too.

But if I were to choose something that is a skill, I've always wished I'd taken the time to learn another language.

I'd like to be able to draw. There are/were a couple of (professional) artists in my family, but I was bypassed in that department.
