Hey everyone, I'm Vistelle.
This is Cosette. I adopted her in September 2011. I had originally gone to the humane society to look at adopting a different cat I'd seen on the website and was interested in, but when I got there, that cat had already found a home. I decided to take a look around anyway to see if anybody else caught my eye. And boy, did that ever happen! I saw a tiny bundle of brown and red fur curled in the cage and was intrigued by the coat pattern. When I tapped on the glass (I know, I know, I'm bad!), her head lifted, turned to me, and her eyes opened. I think I literally stopped breathing for a few seconds when I saw them.
Cosette and McGee bonded within a month of her adoption, and they're now inseparable.
Last but certainly not least, Tobias joined the household in June 2012. I hadn't been looking for another cat, but a friend called me one day saying that she had taken in a cat tossed from a truck driving down her street. The cat had ran and hidden under her car, but she was able to lure him out with some tuna and sweet words. She couldn't keep him due to allergies and was looking for a new home for him among her friends first before she turned to animal rescue. She described him as a "total gentleman" and "absolute sweetheart." When I met him, she couldn't have been more right. And so handsome!
It's taken awhile for Tobias to be integrated with the others, but now everyone gets along in almost-perfect harmony.
