A friend of my wanted me to go with them to a Midnight showing of GI Joe last night.. Midnight showing on the weeknight? When I have to be up at 7 am for work? No thanks! Though, I would've liked to see the movie too!

My question is.. What was the last movie you saw in the movie theaters?

I saw the Transformers in 3D with my dad.. what was that, last summer? oi.

I saw Identity Thief a few weeks ago. We don't go out much, but my in laws wanted to babysit. We were going to go bowling but they had no lanes so we went to the movies.

The Princess Diaries 2. How long ago was that out!?  I know my mother had a friend of mine come with us; but what I can't remember was if her God-daughter had come too?  It would have been more age appropriate for her than for us!

Over the river and through the woods...
It was so long ago that I don't remember.  I stopped going to movie theaters many years ago.

I'm right there with you! I think the last one I saw was Spiderman (don't know if it was 1 or 2...came out in 2002). I remember because we had lost power after a storm for a week and figured we would see a movie because the mall had aircon. Can't say I miss seeing movies in a theater. Too expensive, too many stupid people that won't shut up, no volume control....I'd rather wait until it comes out to rent or buy.

Oranges and Sunshine..

An excellent Australia movie about how, in the 1950s and 60s, thousands of UK children were transported to Australia 'for their own good'.  They were told they were orphans but were more likely to have been taken from single mothers, and they lived a life of virtual slavery and/or abuse with the Christian Brothers.

Well researched, critically acclaimed and brilliantly filmed. Quite an eye opener!

The first Harry Potter movie. Rick said he was more interested in watching me than he was in the movie. He said the expressions on my face while I was watching fascinated him.
