My cat has eaten some food that was dropped on the floor, some bell pepper and chicken, I know the chicken is fine, but is the bell pepper toxic?

I would not worry - unless he has eaten a whole pepper, which is most unlikely, he should be fine.

He has eaten about a size of a clove of garlic in size comparison - so bell peppers are safe for cats?

my cat LOVES cooked bell peppers! I give him a little as a treat whenever I have some.

If your kitty has had a lot, she may, or may not, experience little tummy pains, but I wouldn't worry! She didn't eat enough to be harmful

Strange, my cat wanted more, as if he really liked it.

I didn't give him any as I thought it could be toxic.

I don't thnk peppers are good for cats. I wouldn't give it to them, it could cause stomach upset. If your cat didn't consume a lot, he should be fine.

Onions and garlic are a problem for cats. But most other veggies are fine.

My kitty used to chew on carrots when he was teething! One day I dropped half a carrot on the floor and he just started sinking his teeth into it. Once he got his adult teeth, he lost interest in carrots.
