My vet says that dry food is better for my year old cats, and for my 9 month old kitten.  One of my older ones is overweight, and has been suggested a lighter diet.  What suggestions do you have?  They are now all eating in the same location, at the same time!!!!  Thanks.

Wet food is healthier, and especially for an overweight cat. Wet food is higher protein/lower carb which is the way a cat should be eating. Dry food has a lot less meat and protein and is loaded with unecessary carbs that cats can't use anyway. Why feed a cat extra corn, rice and fillers in dry when you can feed more meat with canned

A good site written by a vet is catinfo.org. It's about cats nutritional needs.

Are you in the U.S? If yes, I can recommend some good cannned food.
