Please for the love of god do not feed this to your cats, I bought the product a few months ago and my cats ate it. I was happy I found a brand that was affordable and my cats would eat. I went to get a second bag and for some reason it was not the same reaction. I didnt notice that the cats where not eating because I assumed my boyfriend was filling the bowl. Come to find out after I noticed One of my cats throwing up all day long this yellow foam that something was wrong. My poor cats had been starving them selves, Tiger lilly which was the cat throwing up seemed to have attempted to eat and started to shake and vomit. Now she does not eat ANYTHING!!! I have to feed my cat through a siring and give her pedialite to boost up back to normal. I was crying just tonight because I found her hiding behind my fridge and I am beyond scared she is going to die. Tonight was the first time I actually started to review the product and found that I am not the only or the first one that this has happened to. I am now looking to find someone who will help me get this stuff off the market. I went to the vet and they didnt find anything wrong with my cat. I can only imagine how many people this has happened to.

start feeding a no grain diet sounds like it might be a allergy or a sensitivity and stop feeding biglots food i bought it once a small bag and it was horrible.

Well, justtwolazy........I don't know whether/not I should say "welcome" to you......because, from your post, I'm really wondering whether/not you're here to be a member and contribute, discuss and learn  - or, whether, perhaps you're someone on a running mission to simply slam a product....

Here's why...Let me play back what you said:
I am now looking to find someone who will help me get this stuff off the market.
In fairness, you certainly do deserve a welcome...and please know that you will be - we'd be very open to discussing something like this and helping someone find foods that are healthy and affordable (for instance, simply using any dry food exclusively BY ITSELF is enough to cause some pretty awful health problems!)...and, please know that many of us have had bad and worse experiences with some of the products on the market.....so, we do understand how horrible this can be.

I never heard of "Big Lots", but, a Google suggests it's some kind of discount department store........and, these appear to be their cat food offerings http://www.biglots.com/aisle-by-aisle/pets

Is that the 'Big Lots' you spoke about?

You'd need to identify the food product in question because I see several brands there, but no 'Big Lots' brand.

The Big Lots brand is Rival, and, yeah, it's crummy. The dry food has no actual meat at all (like many cheap kibbles), and even the canned food is not so great (wheat middlings?). But there's a market for it, and unless you can prove the food has something wrong with it (a contaminant, as opposed to the natural failings of a species-inappropriate diet), it's not going to be taken off the market. Just chalk it up to a lesson learned, I guess.

How is your cat doing now? Glad to hear the vet said she's okay. If you keep force feeding her for a while it sounds like she should be alright

She Just passed away, I found her crying in the closet and I picked her up and she felt so lifeless....I ran and got water and food and with the siring tried to force her to take it. When she throw up I paniced and grabbed my girls and ran to the hospital. My daughter ran inside with her in her arms just to find out she had gone. I am so upset and hurt. I got her from a shelter 7 years ago and never had a problem, I feel like I missed something. It was just one day she vomited over 7 times and that was it...The blood work and Check up was fine, just need to boost her up with a little food and water. I hate that the last moments we had with her was forcing her to drink and eat. I almost wish we had let her gone in peace. OMG!!!!!!

I am sorry your cat died. When you feel up to it, you might want to post a tribute thread in our Crossing the Bridge Forum. I am now going to lock this thread.
