sleep aid

my kitten kicki got spaded today .she keeps on taking her cone off . and is super hyper.im afraid of her opening up her her stiches.. is there a sleep aid i can give so she can sleep ..or atleast calm down?

Kittens are kittens.. they run around and want to play.  It sounds like she's recovered quite well.  However if she is more hyper than normal, you need to see your vet.

The cone is there to stop her from pulling on the threads.. biting at them.  Is she doing that when she takes the cone off?

I was worried Speck would injury himself after his neuter because he was back to his kitten self as soon as he came home from the clinic.  I did give him the pain pills I purchased from the vet anyway, and that seemed to slow him down a little.  I would call the vet office and ask for options.  Welcome to TCS!
