tequila and her kittems!

i promised pictures of the little cuties, so pictures is what youll get!

this was the cutest thing i have ever seen! right after the third kitten (on the bottom) was born and cleaned, her big brother came over and put his paw over her as if to say "welcome to the party!" lol these two are clover and cadet. we decided to keep clover and cadet is going to my brother in the airforce clover is the one on the bottom, cadet is on top. 


this is three feeding, clover feeds when they fall asleep (smart little kitty lol) i could get the two black ones because they are always feeding and i would like to wait till theyre a bit bigger. the big black one is shamrock, and the tiny black one on the bottom is zeus  

they were all born on st.patricks day! thats why we named two clover and shamrock. zeus got his name because hes so fiesty and i bet hes going to be that small cat that thinks hes a lion lol. we havent weighed them yet but my friend is bringing over a weigher in grams so we can get started on that soon anyway heres the little ones, all doing well and ill keep you updated!

The kittens are doing great! We finally got a scale in grams today BUT tequila didn't want the kittens out of the nest, we got one out (we had the scale right by the nest) and tequila came right behind him and before we could even weigh him she had him back in the nest! Lol so we just let them be and I don't want to upset mamma she's been very attached to me today, she always has been but she doesn't want me to leave the room or go away from her nest! I was also wandering, when could I switch her back to her normal cat food? She's had kitten chow for the last couple weeks while she was pregnant but she's had them and theyre almost a week old! Thought I'd update y'all!

I keep my mama kitties on wet kitten food until the kittens are basically weaned, it helps with her milk production and keeps her in good health.
