Lol Mewlittle!!

I had this experience too.  I picked up the can, and asked what made it so tummy friendly - one of those prescription varieties.  The answer...wait for it...'I don't know' !!

To be fair, this was a great response as we want our vets to be honest, and we were able to have an unheated chat where I asked if it would be ok for me to feed some cooked chicken.  Answer 'yes, just no rice'.  My response 'but this can has Brewers rice in it???'  End result was the vet asked if I would mind having the Hills Vet call me to answer my questions.  Well, that was like talking to a politician - but I expected that.

haha this one time my dachshund was having bad health has in not eating for 3 days bladder infection etc she told me the reason why he is picky because the food i feed is bad  and i took ONE can of hills home just to get any thing down Brisk that was a no go but later that night he ate 1/4 of it and puked and the dog food was wasted lol 2 days later for a check up and he stayed there thre sat and sun and when i when to go pick him up i over herd the kennel cleaner saying 'the dachshund did it again he had runny diarhhea all over it went threw the cage door on to the floor, i knew that was brisk i had to hold my laugh in and then the vet asked me if he at it before i bring him in i said vary little and puked it up she blamed it on the bladder infection and the meds when i went home he still had infection and still on meds i was desperet for him to eat so i bought 2 iams<i know its bad brand 2 pro plan 2 pedigree 2 ol roy and load n be hold he ate the pedigree just fin and with no stomach up set he didnt want the other wets so i saved the remaning cans for later and i went back for another check up 4 days later she asked if he is eating the hills she recomeded me to buy i said no then she was lectering me on not to starve my animals of course she didn't want me to talk i raised my voice and said he is eating but its pedigree it better then nothing and he aint throwing up it wasn't the meds and the infection ,she gave me a stern look lol maybe she knew the hills did it and 6 months after he got better i did a test with him i bought one small can i gave him 2 tablespoons he puked so hills suck lol and when i got badger he got the food cans brisk didnt want :p and long story short every time she feed my cats hills they puked all over and had the same diarrhea all ove there kennel its kinda funny how they had to clean all that puke and diarrhea up but it wasn't funny they went threw it and sorry for the long post i had to say this :p

I think I just found the missing link........the reason for this abomination:
GoodGuide’s Science Team worked closely with a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Nutrition (ACVN) to ensure that our ratings criteria were science-based, and feedback from these experts consistently indicated that reliance on pet food ingredient categorization alone would be a poor indicator of a product’s overall health impact for a pet.

http://www.goodguide.com/categories/308923-dry-cat-food##btr on the very bottom line of the page
Translation: a Board Certified Hill's indoctrinated nutrition "specialist".......and this "team"? Surely, not a crowd from Hill's, no, couldn't be.
