So Thunder and Chippie got fixed on the 13th. We got them the extra pain meds but haven't even given them to those two because they don't eve realize they had major surgery. Chippie is as crazy as ever and keeping her activity level down is even harder than before! Without those ever growing teenage hormones, her attention span went down and activity level went up.
Thunder has changed back into the loving kitten we thought we were getting. Once she became a "teen" she became a grumpy brat, only friendly to me in my room and that was it. Now she's back to purring all the time and cuddling nonstop! Hopefully she stays this way this time ^^ but if not we love her anyway. She weighs over a pound more than Chippie and they both ate a whole can each the minute they got home (nobody told them their appetite and activity levels should be down)
But Thunder was being bad and started chewing on her incision sight so i had to go out and buy a cone for her (and bought one for Chippie just in case but haven't had to use it on her)
Her first reaction to the cone. All 4 feet went to it and she flopped around like a fish trying to get it off! She got out of it once and I put it back on her and gave her a special treat and she's been fine with it since (sleeps a lot with it on though!)
She got the pink one dirty so we had to switch to the green one, but it works for the holiday so it's all good!

It's so funny when she tries to rub her head against me or play with me now! But she makes one cute satellite kitty, don't you think?
Anybody else have any satellite kitties to help this chubby monster to cope more? Show off those cuties! Forget the bunny ears, satellite cats are where it's at now!
