No text visible...  I suppose you want to ask if your female is preg...  Probably.

If unspayed and allowed to be out - sure,

  but explain more, please!

Welcome to our Forums!

Good luck!

I'm sorry I had a whole thing written out idk what happened to it. She is an inside cat we found her as a stray kitten. We also found a male kitten a couple weeks after in a dumpster. We saw our male mount e her but thought we stopped it before anything happened. We never paid any mind to it but I noticed her nipples getting bigger and today I had my hand resting on her tummy and I felt them actually moving... so my question is how far along is she?

It takes seconds for cats to mate and the female to get pregnant, plus they probably mated other times you didn't see.  If you know the date you saw him mating her then she is due 65 days after that.  Otherwise, she is due when she gives birth.

Suggest you get him neutered ASAP, and get her neutered as soon after delivery as your vets will do it.  Neutering is not only contraception, it greatly reduces the risk of breast cancer in females and almost gets rid of the risk of pyometra.   Unneutered males have highly unpleasent smelling urine, and often start spraying it all over the place as they mature especially if they can smell a receptive female.

I felt kittens moving for a full 4 weeks before one of my rescues gave birth. So it's different for every kitty.

I've had three rescue mommas with their first litters, two gave birth to 4, one gave birth to 6 (one died immediately after birth due to a defect). My most recent one according to people in the neighborhood has had multiple litters gave birth to 6- two dying from unknown complications they were much smaller than the others.

I have a Foster right now who is 7 months old and her first litter. I didn't want to know the number but the vet said its a large litter. I have had other first timers with large litters as well, you never know :)

Being the first time or not doesn't dictate the size of the litter. Also, since you found her as a stray you don't know for sure that this is her first litter. Although she sounds really young so here's hoping it is (as well as her last litter)!

Younger cats can have more complications with delivery so make sure you do your research and are prepared for what may happen. This is a really good article for that: http://www.fabcats.org/breeders/infosheets/breeding_from_your_cat/felineparturition.html . Also, make sure you have your birthing kit ready with your vet and after hours vet number's handy. You can find more about preparing a birthing kit here: http://www.thecatsite.com/t/80724/all-about-pregnancy-labor-delivery-in-cats

Finally, make sure that after she gives birth she has no contact with your intact male. She can go back into heat within a matter of days. I would try to get him neutered ASAP but remember he is still fertile for several weeks after. Complete and total separation is a must or you will have another litter on the way!

Good luck in making your preparations and continue to ask questions if you need to.
