I have been having trouble getting questions answered in my other threads so I'll start a new one. My queen Snowbell is due at any moment. Is loose stools an early sign of labor? I have a gut feeling I need to be at the birth for her. Should I take this as a sign and stay up with her?

Yes, loose poo is quite common shortly before labor.  But you still dont know exactly when it will come... :)

Good luck Savethemoms!

So it could still hold off till the morning then? My daughter sleeps in Snows room, I'm just afraid she will sleep threw it! Thanks for the info. I was getting so many different answers elsewhere.

Set up a webcam and whoever's up on the forum can send you a txt when she goes into labor :p I'm already thinking I'll have lots of nights with my cat where I stay up all night and nothing happens!

I stayed up every night for an entire week before my rescue momma gave birth lol. There's many times you think "this is it!" and it's really not it. She had always had loose stools (wasn't in great health- rescued off the streets) but I noticed about 3 days before hand she was having way more bowel movements than before.

If anything, set your alarm and wake every two hours or so.

Yes I have now set an alarm. The web camera is a great idea, except I have no computer right now. Just my cell. I wish I did though, I'd be able to put pictures up easier! My phone would have less drama to deal with as I get frustrated with it when the pictures refuse to load lol.
