Mondays Question of the Day

Ive just started getting a new magazine for cake making and decorating and it has what looks like a beautiful chocolate cake...

So whats your favourite cake?

A vegan chocolate cake I've been making for decades - it's incredibly moist, and people are always amazed when I tell them there's no milk, butter or eggs in it, but vegetable oil and vinegar.

My favorite cake is Strawberry Short Cake and White or Yellow cake with Chocolate Frosting....hmmm.

Man now I want to go bake on!  I need to save my baking energy though; my Mom's birthday is this weekend and I always make her favorite cake (that my Gram used to make for her too!).  I make a Chiffon cake (no lemon, yick!) and cover it in whipped cream and maraschino cherries!  Pretty and yummy!

I think lemon pound cake. It can be served so many ways.

Orange and almond cake.  I got really used to making it as it's gluten-free and so many people need that.  Now I'm just addicted..

Any cake as long as it doesn't have raisins!!!LOL If pushed, it's a three way tie for spice, chocolate and lemon

I'm not really a cake person.. but I do love a good german chocolate cake. I really like the frosting! Ice cream cake is good too!

I go through phases. It was chocolate forever, then I moved onto carrot cake, then briefly it was coconut cake. :lol3: I'm starting to move back to chocolate again. :lol3:
