Hi everyone!
I've always loved all animals but have a special place in my heart for all felines. I own two: Citlalmina and Thelonious Punk. I adopted both within a year, Citlalmina's mom had been ran over and her kitties given away, so I got her at around 3 months old. Almost one year later Thelonious picked me as I was getting out of my car to go into work. He just started meowing at me - super malnourished, bony, weak and with a piece of his tail off - and I didn't think twice so I took him to the vet and then to my home. They are about to be 7 and 6 years old, healthy and happy, and I absolutely love them to death. Here's a few pics of them:
Mina at 3 months and then at 3 years.
Thelonious at 5months and then at 3 years.
Thelonious is the grey one He had a sever UTI a few years ago, I was abroad at the time and my wonderful family took such good care of him! He was touch and go for a few weeks but has since made a stupendous recovery, only needs to be on a special diet.
I've also rescued and foster some cats and kittens over the years, my family does too. I actually joined the site recently to seek out advice on hand rearing kittens. I had done it once before but these babies are way younger and I've been struggling a bit with them. I've started another thread in the Kittens section with details of my doubts and questions.
I hope to open a pet photography practice sometime in the near future. Have been a photographer for many years, and although I haven't done much pet photography work it just seems right, so I'm now in the early planning stage of that project
Hope to read about y'all too! I'll leave you now with a few pics of some of my fosters:
