Shilo's 4 kittens are now 9 days old and 2 of them have their eyes open, and the other 2 are trying. Here is a picture of the little sweeties. :)

In my research on this board, I learned not to use clumping kitty litter. At what age to I put the tray next the main litter box? I read they can learn at 3 weeks but is that realistic or practical?

Secondly, what is the time frame for worming and first shots?

Thank you. :)

They usually don't use the litter box well until 5 or 6 weeks.

First worming for roundworms anytime now I believe - I've no idea what country you are in, here in the UK we would use Panacur for small kittens.  First shots at 8 weeks.  They will start trying to use mum's litter tray as soon as they can get into it, but keep a low-sided one until they are 8 weeks or so.  And once they are wandering the house you probably need some extra trays, as it's some time bfore 'need to go Right Now' becomes 'need to go In a Minute' - they don't have time to get to the tray to start with if it's any distance away.
