Diamond has had so many many dry food recalls over the past year or two, I would recommend anyone to avoid feeding any brand made by Diamond.

SOLID GOLD has solid gold have a recall in the past year?

Solid Gold, while not owned by Diamond, outsources production of some of their products and was part of the massive Diamond pet foods recall last summer due to salmonella.

The best defense is to read all labels very carefully. Google the foods you feed every now and then to search for recalls you may not have heard about. Read the consumer complaint pages. Feed a wide variety of brands. Or make your own.

I do search for the brands i feed havent seen any recalls for the food for the past 6 or so months
